Google is adding smart devices to its list of smart devices.
The search giant says its new ‘Google Assistant’ will be available for the first time in India on April 5.
This will be followed by more devices from leading tech brands such as Amazon and Samsung later this month.
In the first half of 2016, Google announced it would be adding the Google Assistant to a range of devices including the Nexus 6P, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, and Nexus 10.
The new Google Assistant will be a key part of Google’s strategy to grow its voice assistant platform.
In the company’s earnings call last month, CEO Sundar Pichai said the assistant was the fastest growing product for Google and the world.
Pichai also said Google will be launching more than 1,000 new products over the next year and added the voice assistant would become a key piece of its platform.
