Posted November 18, 2018 14:20:24 The only thing better than being outdoors is being in the house with a big screen TV and a big window.
I was never a fan of air conditioning because I thought it was too hot.
But I’m glad to have found a better way to cool down in the past few months.
My mum, who lives in a suburb of London, would often turn up the thermostat to 100 degrees Celsius in the morning and 100 degrees in the evening.
That way she was able to get a decent night’s sleep.
But as I aged I was able have more and more time outdoors and spend more time relaxing.
I’d like to think I could get up to about 70 degrees in winter, but I’d be lying if I said I had never been up to 90 degrees in summer.
While it’s certainly a great way to enjoy the outdoors, I’d still prefer having air conditioning.
It helps to keep the room cooler, and when you’re outside, the air conditioning is much quieter.
But if you’ve got a big TV and want to keep it cool, I wouldn’t say it’s a bad idea to check the thermos to see if it’s still working.
It can sometimes be easier to use a large, flat object such as a table or chair instead of a thermostatic air conditioner.
And the fact that air conditioners are now available in more than a dozen different sizes and shapes will certainly keep you from needing to go shopping for one.
