A new study has found the air conditioner in the Sarasola City Centre is still working despite being disconnected for the last week, even though it was supposed to be off.
The air conditioning unit in the city centre is being disconnected to the public as part of the city’s energy-saving measures, the City of Sarasolas says in a statement.
“We have been advised to disconnect the air-conditioning unit in order to ensure the safety of the public,” the statement said.
“The City of San Diego has had to shut down many public areas of the City in order for the unit to be taken off the premises and to make way for other uses.”
Air conditioners are being installed in several cities around the world, including Australia, China, Japan and South Africa.
