A man was found in hot water with his air conditioner in the middle of the road, in a car with a gas tank and gas pipes on fire.
The fire was reported in the suburb of Clonshaugh in County Mayo in Co Kerry at about 5:30pm yesterday.
The man, believed to be aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The incident was caught on camera and was posted on YouTube.
The footage shows a vehicle with a black and white roof and a gas pipe on fire at the side of the motorway.
The road was closed for several hours while the fire was put out.

It is believed that he was in a hot air box.”
A Co Kerry Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was airlifted to Cork University Hospital where he was treated and released.
